Did anyone read the report in the Rottendam Spotlight paper? My wife handed it to me today, since I didnt see it when it showed up friday. I busted a rib laughing at how the TASS news agency gets things 'mistaken' just a little bit. I read Joe Surhada's press release here and he claimed to be inspired by George Washington who only served 2 terms then did not run again. The Spotlight appears to be changing it to make Surhada look like he is a devotee of GEORGE W. BUSH! It quoted Surhada as saying " I am inspired by George W. Bush who left office after only eight years' or something like that. WHAT as if Bush was GOING TO SEIZE THE COUNTRY LIKE A DICTATOR BUT CHOSE TO HAND OVER POWER TO OBAMA??? WTF???

Did anyone catch that? Surhada has his news release posted here so WE can see what he said, but the Spotlight news decides to change it on him!!!! WOW! And the little mistake happens to make Joe look like a BUSH fanatic, who happens to be very unpopular right (until the next successful terror attack at which point people will proclaim Bush was right!) Funny how subtle the press is in their ways of bias. they really know how to make republicans look baddddddddd.

I'm shocked by the spotlight. I didn't think they spun anything!!! Oh well, another media outet gone bad!!

I have read some of their 'editorials' the past few years and have detected some left wing attitude there. Maybe the reporter had her story changed by someone higher up on the foodchain who wanted to embarrass Joe S? She absoulutely LOVES Angelo Santabarbara! MAYBE SHE IS SAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    

Both comparisons are silly but glad some got a wake up call. This is hardly the first time the Spotlight twisted facts to make a Rep look bad. It's not just the Gazetto. Joe Suhrada should demand a retraction-they will flatly refuse to print one.

Typical damage control by Surhada.  He has embraced George W.  for years; who is he kidding.  Some higher up probably didn't approve of the Bush comparison so they try to figure out a politician named George to spin as
Surhada's hero.  Joe Smo Surhada is nothing more than a phoney baloney.  Has lived at the candy store for
years now he says he lives on Wedgewood.  Had Bush all over his literature both runs and now he says he
admires and meant George Washington instead of George Bush.  This zeolot grand stander Surhada would put
Adolph Hitler on his literature if he could find a way to rationalize it getting him some votes.  Joe Schmo Surhada is no slam dunk Rotterdam voters.  Peel back the fat and you have a true blue George W. wannabe.  
What a a joke!!!!
