ROCHESTER — A city police officer was fighting for his life late Saturday after being shot in the back of the head, authorities said. The injured officer, who is in his early 20s and has been on the force for about year, and three others were responding to a complaint about drug activity, police said. They questioned a group of people on the street at around 3:45 p.m. When they turned to walk away from the group, shots were fired, said Police Chief David Moore. Investigators weren’t sure whether the shots came from that group or from farther away, Moore said. “Whoever fired the gun this afternoon deserves to be in the ICU (intensive care unit), not that brave officer,” said Gov. David Paterson, who was in Rochester to meet with U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and community leaders and went to the hospital.
Now, I've got no use for scumbags that shoot police officers - that's what capital punishment trials are all about, but that's IMHO, For a governor to say something like this is incredible. This is gonna come back to haunt him.
Me too, excellent. Sounds like the kind of thing Joe Surhada is known for getting into trouble with!
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
I don't think we have to worry about it coming pack to haunt paterson, cause I think he has burned too many bridges to be re-elected.

More elected officials need to make statements like that. I'd rather see the jerk who shot that young cop in the morgue......no, maybe icu is better, there might be a bit of suffering going on for him/her.
