A Rotterdam decision
Marv Cermak

Eunice Esposito, Rotterdam town clerk for 28 years, says she's on the fence about seeking another four-year term in November.

"My present term isn't over until the end of this year, but I'm not sure about another run," the veteran Democratic told me. "I feel good and I like my work, but at 82, who knows?"

Before being elected clerk, Esposito put in 10 years as confidential secretary to the late Rotterdam Supervisor John "Bud" Kirvin. Unbeaten in 12 elections, she took 70 percent of the vote in the last race.

Democratic insiders say Diane Marco, a former Rotterdam Town Board member, will be the party's town clerk candidate when Esposito retires.

Shows how little you know, Sal.  This position has no control over money of any sort.  How will a position that makes no decisions on any money cost us millions?

No, i am afraid he is right, we handed the keys to the country to these tin-pot democrat dictators so we must gladly take what we get. Until next election.
