3 children with Nazi names all placed in state custody The Associated Press
HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Three New Jersey siblings whose names have Nazi connotations have been placed in state custody, police said. The children, ranging in age from 3 to under 1, were removed from their home Friday. They drew attention last month when a supermarket bakery refused to put the name of the oldest — Adolf Hitler Campbell — on a birthday cake. State workers didn’t tell police why the children were taken, police Sgt. John Harris said. A spokeswoman for the state Division of Youth and Family Services, Kate Bernyk, said she would not comment on any specific case, but she said the state would not remove children from a home simply because of their names. A family court hearing is scheduled for Thursday. Court officials said the matter is ............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....amp;EntityId=Ar00204
This has been posted since 9am and I'm the first to respond?? What names are next to be considered child abuse? George Bush Campbell, Richard Cheney Campbell, I'm sure Joseph Stalin Campbell would be O.K. I believe a name like William Jefferson Campbell or Hilda Solis Campbell might qualify a visit from the CPS if it were up to me.
Ockham, how do you feel about the state of New Jersey detaining somebody's kids based on their choice of names? Or do you believe the Social Worker's statement of their names not being the reason for taking the kids into custody. I'm curious to find out if your position against the detainment of enemy combatant in Gitmo are in line with the state detaining somebody's children because of their names. Which is the greater violation of individual rights??
It was clearly stated that their names were not the reason they were detained. My guess is, like people do in many places, public records were reviewed and news items that caught someone's interest were investigated by the AP.
For all we know, there could have been a buzz about the community about the family, when the bakery probably shared this information with people.
CPS can still detain your children first and give a reason after. I guess a buzz in an American community is a good enough reason to take ones children away. But a buzz in the muslim community isn't a good enough reason to detain our enemies.
If you went to Villa Italia and ordered a cake that said "Happy Birthday Ronald Reagan!" on Reagan's birthday, do you think they call the local democrats like their bosom buddy Suzi Savae or the Fish Face Gardner and report you too? Your taxes will be bound to triple then! Hahaaaaa
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

I understand your feeling, but the way that the County keeps going, my
State and Federal Mandates
are bound to triple no matter WHAT I get on a cake!
Hey - buzz got a fourteen year old put in Gitmo for seven years, and you're in favor of that. What's with this 'due process' bull now?
War criminals do not get due process. That's what the people at Gitmo are. The Constitution is a list of rights for United States citizens. If they're not U.S. Citizens, they don't have the rights that are give by the Constitution.
Dad of Nazi-named kids angry at state NEWARK, N.J. — The father of three children who have names associated with Nazis is accusing the state Division of Youth and Family Services of taking his children under false pretenses and says one of the kids appeared neglected when he saw them last week. Heath Campbell told The Associated Press on Saturday that he and his wife, Deborah, have been allowed to see their children once since state child welfare workers removed them from the family’s home on Jan. 9. Campbell said his 2-year-old daughter, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell, appeared sick and had a runny nose and dirty diaper when he and his wife visited the children last week under the supervision of state social workers. DYFS has not said why Joyce-Lynn and siblings Adolf Hitler Campbell, 3, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, who will be 1 in April, were removed. Kate Bernyk, a DYFS spokeswoman, said Saturday that confidentiality laws prevent the agency from commenting on specific cases.
