Well, the Chamber had it's Annual Business awards. I heard that they went like this....
Rising star ward went to LT's Grill and the Goldstocks owners
Say Schenectady Tourism Award went to the Holiday Inn and the Hampton Inn
Tech Vall innovation award went to TransTech Systems
Special Recognition went to Gabe Basil, SCC's retiring pres.
Entrepreneur of the year went to Ray Blesser for NE jewelers
Enterprise of the year went to the owners of the Mossey Group
Corporation of the year went to RailEx
And the executive of the year went to Ray Gillen

So with all of the awards that the chamber hands out...what has it done for 'actual' businesses and growth and taxes in Schenectady county. They appear to be yet another county entity that looks at this area with rose colored glasses and expects the rest of us to do the same.

OMG! Another new low from the people that brought you the Gillette House fiasco. A million dollars in your tax money flushed down the pishaloo. Then purchased by the horrible Chamber for a lousy dollar-and they still can't finish it up!

     You can't make this up. Instead of a pink slip horrible Death Ray wins awards, pay raises and is put on more Krat Boreds. The worst Chamber of Commerce in the entire State and possibly the Nation. A pro tax Chamber only in Schenectady County. After you cancel your subscription to the Gazetto, cancel your membership to the Chamber.

Maybe they could have given the lifetime under-achievement award to Sue Savage and Bob Goodfornothinglewski, jointly... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

WHAT A JOKE this chamber has become.  Have you ever looked at it's board? Gary Hughes, Martin Finn, Mallozzi (one of them) and sundry other democrat HACKS who suckle the teet of Metroplex so much their lips fell off! It should be called the Torture Chamber for what it has done to it's underserved members at the expense of all for the few who run the thing!!! I recall when Fast Ed had his catastrophic run for Assembly, the chamber proudly juxtaposed his ginormous snoz on the front page of their newsletter a few days before the election cutting some ribbon or another for some business he absoulutely had nothing to do with, just to get his football sized beek in the circular! Sorry that didn't go too well for you, Ed.

Now they run Marty Finn and this clown Gillen who never so much as ran a lemonade stand in his life?????????? Lord help business in this God forsaken county.
