I have been watching SNL since the days of Eddy Murphy, John Candy, Jane Curtin, Dan Ackroyd and Gilda Radner. I didn't think the skit about Gov. Paterson was any different than any other skit they did. And I thought it was hysterical just like others they have done including Sarah Palin and Clinton and Bush.
If you watch South Park, it would make SNL look like a Sunday morning service. |

Certainly SNL doesn't come close to Bernie Madoff and friends........
does anyone think Mr.Paterson legally blind and all doesn't know Mr.Madoff??????? |

Shame on 'SNL' gaffe; bravo for Paterson grit First published in print: Wednesday, December 24, 2008
Watching excerpts of the "Saturday Night Live'' scenario on the news in which our Governor Paterson was absurdly impersonated made me wonder how low television must reach in order to "entertain." To make light of someone's disabilities to the point of insinuating that our governor is blundering and inept is not only an insult to the man but also to the position he holds in such a satisfactory manner. Shame on "SNL'' and bravo to our governor for holding his head high and proving he should be seen not as a man with a disability, but as a man.

I have seen TV stoop far lower than this and called it "entertainment." |
