How things are going nowadays, maybe they SHOULD run paternity tests on each and every baby, even IF the 2 people are married. This only goes to prove the fact...unless there's some way you can prove to me scientifically that 2 females can get together the genetic makeup to make a child...or 2 males for that matter (although I guess this would be an adoption). In fact, I always thought that the birth certificate was less a "I won a new baby" certificate and more of a way to prove descendancy and/or backtrack medical conditions. If the bloodwork won't say it, this certificate shouldn't say it, no matter WHO created the little one. |
