Four-day school week?

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Should public schools in New York state be given the flexibility to change to a four-day week? That's the subject of a public hearing being held today in Albany by the state Senate Education Committee.

Lawmakers will be gathering information on the pros and cons of giving schools the option to switch to a four-day school week or other types of flexible scheduling.

Does this mean the teachers will receive less pay?

And does this have to be approved by the teacher's union first?

I dont care when it gets done....just let me know real soon so I can adjust MY workschedule and so will my boss and all the other companies.....

I kind of like these changes starting.....auto industry revamp, public school revamp, financials revamp.......this is SOOOOOOO exciting,,,,anyone
else excited.......
