Wow, I guess if you have an opinion that differs from Righteous you're an ignorant racist even when race hasn't even been mentioned.

So Righeous, am I to assume that you are 100% in favor of naming a school after a 'president elect' who has no accomplished record to speak of to this date? And if there is no record of any accomplishments and being that he is just the president-elect....on what grounds and for what reason would a school change it's name? Cause he's just a nice guy?  A good speaker? A great dresser? Cause it surely is not because of his race.

yea this is terrible.  you ignorant, racist, f*cks would have no objection to your children going to Ronald Reagan High School or any of the other thousands of schools named after a president.

Wrong.  I may have no objection to my children going to Ronald Reagan High School, but at the same time, I would have no problem with my children going to any school that was named after a president...who has already BEEN president...and actually did something worthwhile to make this country better while they were in office.

In fact, President-Elect Obama (an office that doesn't exist) isn't even officially the President-Elect yet.  In fact, he won't even have that position name until January 8 (proof is at this official site of the U.S. Electoral College...http://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/2008/)

I know it is so hard for the people in this forum to accept or even try to understand that the world is so much bigger then little Rotterdam, NY.

I know that the world is so much bigger than "little Rotterdam, NY," but this is where we are and we deal with the issues of "little Rotterdam" and "little Schenectady County" every day, so it makes them a bit bigger than they would be for someone from Missoula, MT.

But everybody here just runs their mouths and goes on and on about their Republican agenda....

MY agenda is my agenda...not any specific partys...and before you call it a "Republican" agenda, I probably disagree with half of the "Republicans" that are now "representing" the party.  Let me call it what I see it as, don't put your own label on it.  If you must say that I have an agenda, let's say that it's conservative or (little r) republican.

Oh' Kevin March's editorial in the gazette (which you all criticize, but still wrtie editorials in that paper) another example of how crazy you people are here.

The reason I write these editorials is to show that not everyone in this area is a lemming...and for your information, I no longer buy the Gazette, I solely review it on a daily basis to see what left-wing hacks are spinning out of the mills across the county, state and country.  As far as my reading of something I know that I will most likely disagree with each and every word I read in it, I refer you to Sun-tzu, the Chinese general & military strategist (circa 400 BC) who stated "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

and as far as this...

yea bum, it's much easier for you retards to sit in this safe little forum and just spin your own bullsh*t.... anyone that has a different opinion is encouraged to leave the forum....
...If I wanted to just "sit in this safe little forum and just spin" my own "bullsh*t," I first of all wouldn't have my own blog (see my signature), I wouldn't have this stuff under my own name (which you don't even have the guts to do yourself) and if I REALLY wanted to stay "safe," I would just sit and read this stuff and not comment on a single thing, not letting people know how I felt in ANY way, whether by posting or my talking to anybody about what I read.

And I DARE ANYONE to tell ME one time that I have EVER asked ANYONE to leave ANY forum.  In fact when I disagree with someone, I'm even more likely to REQUEST that they take part more so I can have honest debate, not "spinning bullsh*t."

Oh, so Obama is as fickle a leader as Davis was? Maybe he is.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Aren't schools, libraries, state/federal buildings name for someone famous AFTER they have either died OR have acomplished something great?

Gee, even Hollywood gives out Oscars AFTER an accomplishment! And we know how closely tied the libs and hollyweird is.

Who cares what they name the school......we subsidize education with gambling......and naming the school shows nothing more than our fickleness
and the need for 'the next new thing'.....however, we fail to see that there is nothing new under the sun,,,,,
