I, personally, have stopped purchasing the Daily Gazette. Instead, I have found a new place to go each morning for a fresh, soft bagel and a good cup of non-fair-trade, non-organic coffee. I go over to Bagels and Bakes on Curry Road, right next door to the eyesore Capitol Plaza. They have the Gazette and Times Union right there for you to purchase a copy, along with some GREAT service. Let's put it this way, the second day I walked into the store, the young woman working behind the counter already knew what I wanted. She asked if I wanted the same thing and went about making it while I got to make up my choice of blends of coffee (more than are offered at DD's or Mobil, not sure about the # against Cumbys) and get out of there in mere moments and on my way to work.
I suggest you stop in and give them a shot.
Dunkin Donut's coffee has gone downhill lately, IMHO. It tastes "old" even tho it's evident it's fresh brewed. I'll have to try Bagels and Bakes again when I'm in the area |

I suppose principal means nothing then? that is if it is not profit-driven, perhaps it is based on the principal of the whole thing,... if you open the door a crack then.......
Yes....the principle is that the times have changed, technology has changed, and peoples lifestyles have changed----- EXPONENTIALLY CHANGED......forever...... ALL media needs to move on.....the 'old man' is out the door along with ford, gm, crysler.......the end of an era is here...... whether we like it or not.......look at the horizon........ as for the profit thing---well, times and systems may be changing but people inherently are the same animal within...... |

No Pat Z, I am not with the gazetto police, whatever that is. Your question implies that you are doing something illegal. Are you? |

Don't know how you got this from Pat Z's post!! Not that you'd care either way...right? |

Then I suggest you stay out of it. If you are not involved you would have nothing to say. It's funny, I had a gazette reporter once on my board that just couldn't let it go. He was a real jerk, name was Matt. I ended up canning his a** and never regretted doing it. Had to try and get a pulitzer using another member. You wouldn't be one of those lame reporters, now would you? |

Oh Sal, old buddy, if this site were so illegal than the gazette wouldn't be nosing around to find some hot information to write an article on. And if this site was so illegal, the 'people in power' wouldn't be gazing at it to see what their constituants are talking about. Senders is right.........go find another sandbox or perhaps start your own!! |
