Thank you for this notice. Catholics ought to be a unified voice for the unborn against the like of Barack Obama. How can God blessed an economy built on the corpses of aborted children? This is a non-negotiable issue. [face=Arial]

The truth is that whether the government allows abortions or not....there always will be! Legal or not! 'You can not change the heart of wo/man'.  I personally am against abortion. I am pro-life. But if there needs to be a law in to allow abortions, itshould be decided state to state. Not federal.

Too many important laws are written by Congress that should be put up as a referendum in November to be decided by the people.

I am historically in favor of referendums. However, just think of having a referendum for the women's right to vote? Civil rights? If there was a referendum back then, what do you think the outcome would have been?

If today, they put up a permissive referendum for abortion and gay marraige rights...it would be voted down. And for that reason, it would never be an option in the voting booths.

I just don't like the idea of someone else making laws that I have to follow unless it's the will of the people or you end up with laws that can't be enforced.
