Ya know Sal, you just may be on to something here after all. It probably is the reps that are causing all of the problems for all of us American citizens. If ya start to look back, I'm sure it was the reps who caused the depression of 1929. Only to have the dems come in and fix it. The reps were probably the cause of every war that our brave men and women fought and died for. It was probably the reps that started that whole civil rights movement back in the 60's. AND probably the hippy movement too, wouldn't ya say? I mean look at Watergate. Now that was a scandal if ya ever saw one. I know Ted Kennedy, God Bless his heart, was in a little scandal with his drinking and all, but the girl, who was just a friend that drowned, well that was just an accident. The reps probably tried to make a big deal out of nothing there, wouldn't ya say?

And you can just bet that the few reps out there, were responsible for 9/11 and this whole illegal immigration thing. I mean what the heck was Bush trying to do by making English the language of the land? He actually wanted immigrants to learn English BEFORE they could become a legal citizen. Now I think that's ridiculous and a case for the ACLU against the reps.

And I will bet you that the reps are behind this whole wall street crash. The dems would never have let that happen. At least the dems look out for us.  And here the reps are trying to place some blame on Barney Frank. And I'm sure it is just because Barney is a dem. They have no facts to back anything up. And look at our beloved state of New York. Even though it is a democratic majority, it is those few nasty reps that are making all of those decisions that have got this state in the mess that it is in, wouldn't ya say?

And of course locally, we have the dems trying to do the right thing for the taxpayers, and those few nasty reps are stopping them for doing it. Shame on them. The dems would probably never take a salary increase unless it was forced upon them by those nasty reps, wouldn't ya say? Those reps actually are talking about the sale of the Glendale home! My God, what would ever happen to all of those poor old folks. Those poor old folks would have to end up living in those horrible conditions that exist in Daughters of Sarah, Baptist or Kingsway. Deplorable, wouldn't ya say? And the union workers at Glendale would have to work in the private sector. Those reps are just bastards!

But ya can't leave out the conservs. They historically and nationally are lock step with the reps. I'm sure they are playing a roll in the demise of this country right along with the reps. The conservs are no better. They are just as nasty and greedy and power driven as the reps. Something you will never see with the dems, wouldn't ya say? And after all, it is the reps and conservs that make the big bucks, not the dems, so taxing them even more and giving their money to the less fortunate is clearly the right thing to do. That'll bring the reps and conservs down a peg or two, wouldn't ya say?

And ya know Sal, I think that this country should go to a one party system and it should all be democrat. Oh wait, we almost have that already, being that the congress is pretty much all dems. But Obama would be the icing on the cake. And I think that these reps could learn a few things from Obama. It is about time they started to go to Rev.Wright's church where Obama attended for 20 years and learn what God and country really mean. And they should also become a community organizer for ACORN like Obama did and learn how the other half lives and try to help them out. And perhaps if the reps sat down with Ayers, they would learn of forgiveness and repentance. Oh, I forgot, Ayers isn't remorseful or sorry for his past actions, sorry. But that's not a big deal, cause the reps would come to realize that just because you were once a domestic terrorist does not automatically mean you are a radical, wouldn't ya say?

And Susan Savage, God bless her, she is a mother of NINE kids and holds down 2 tax-paid jobs. Remarkable! She is fair and is always looking out for what is best for the residents of Schenectady County. She tries to discuss county issues with those reps, but they refuse to every single time. Susan Savage really wants to work with those few reps, but those nasty reps just keep ignoring her and shutting her down when she wants to speak. Awful! We should also all be grateful to her. Why if it weren't for her, Ed Kosiur, Ray Gillen and Philip Morris may be on unemployment today. And we would not have a communications director. And the reps just don't get it, on how important these jobs and positions are to the taxpayer.

Ya Sal...you just may be on to something here.

I agree with the 5th pargagraph of your post Ockham concerning the work ethics of other nationalities, and it is probably the core issue of many of the problems in our country today.  I also think many other nationalities are way ahead of us in education.

.....And as for you Bum?  It's about time you smartened up

As the President, he is always first in line where proposing legislation is concerned, so for those first six years Dubya was in office, if he wanted a bill introduced and passed, it invariably happened.  Why wasn’t the illegal immigration of other than terrorists an issue during those years?

Ock.....dont you think it would have been too hard to press the button of a National Real ID just over a few terrorists when you have an army with
vast amounts of wealth and fire power behind it to fix that issue???? Hell, use those pesky immigrants stealing our jobs right here in our own
backyards....we all need pitbulls to protect our jobs here at home......
