There are links on the internet with Palin's actual emails. I found them but refuse to have them posted on this message board.

Hackers break into Sarah Palin's e-mail account
Published - Sep 17 2008 09:11PM EDT | AP
By TED BRIDIS - Associated Press Writer

Hackers broke into the Yahoo! e-mail account that Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin used for official business as Alaska's governor, revealing as evidence a few inconsequential personal messages she has received since John McCain selected her as his running mate.

"This is a shocking invasion of the governor's privacy and a violation of law. The matter has been turned over to the appropriate authorities and we hope that anyone in possession of these e-mails will destroy them," the McCain campaign said in a statement.

The Secret Service contacted The Associated Press on Wednesday and asked for copies of the leaked e-mails, which circulated widely on the Internet. The AP did not comply.

The disclosure Wednesday raises new questions about the propriety of the Palin administration's use of nongovernment e-mail accounts to conduct state business. The practice was revealed months ago _ prior to Palin's selection as a vice presidential candidate _ after political critics obtained internal e-mails documenting the practice by some aides.

One person whose e-mail to Palin apparently was among those disclosed, Amy B. McCorkell, declined to discuss her correspondence. "I do not know anything about it," McCorkell said. "I'm not giving you any comment." Wired.com said McCorkell later confirmed that she did send the e-mail to Palin.

Another of the e-mails apparently revealed Wednesday was an exchange in July with Alaska Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell discussing a talk show host who had been critical of Parnell. Parnell declined to discuss the matter.

Palin herself used "gov.sarah" in one of her e-mail addresses, but the hackers targeted her "gov.palin" account. Her husband used "fek9wnr" in his address. "Fe" is the representation for iron, and "k9" is an abbreviation for canine. Todd Palin was the winner of the grueling Iron Dog snowmobile race, and "fek9wnr" also is Todd Palin's vehicle license tag in Alaska.

It wasn't immediately clear how hackers broke into Palin's Yahoo! account, but it would have been possible to trick the service into revealing her password knowing personal details about Palin that include her birthdate and ZIP code. A hacker also might have sent a forged e-mail to her account tricking her into revealing her own password.

McCorkell was appointed by Palin to an advisory board on issues involving alcohol and drug abuse. One of the leaked e-mails suggested McCorkell wrote to Palin on Sunday to say she was praying for Palin. "Don't let the negative press get you down!" the message said.

this here proves she is an outlaw and a pirate by hiding these important emails so the big story I was told is that she was doing dirty tricks behind our backs and Obamas people were doing the right thing by investigating her. there is no way they are in trouble but she is friends. I warned you I had a bad feeling over her when I saw the picture of her with the crippled baby she doesnt take care of while she is too busy working

and dont forget this extremely damning one:

Hey Sarah,

I'm reading the paper and have thoughts and prayers heading your way  .... don't let the negative press wear you down! Pray for me as well. I need strength to 1. Keep employment 2. Not have to choose. Lately I just pray God's will be done. I am trying to learn patience and to listen to God. I pray he gives you Energy! Strength!

All it proves to me Sal is that Obama still surrounds himself with corrupt people of the same caliber who got him elected in the first place. Why haven't the media investigated Obama's corrupt dealings in Chicago and published the real facts about him?

I really hope they find out who hacked Palin's e-mail account and that they're prosecuted, do jail time, and maybe that will put an end to this type of behavior.

No this person should get a medal for exposing her corrupt use of outside email indeed. She is breaking the law over there. I suspect she will be indicted soon on this according to some I talked to in some local campaigns and they have good insider information

Republican vice presidential candidate, Alaska Gov., Sarah Palin, answers...

This screenshot from Gawked.com shows an email account of Republican vice...

WASHINGTON (AP) - Details emerged Thursday behind the break-in of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's e-mail account, including a first-hand account suggesting it was vulnerable because a hacker was able to impersonate her online to obtain her password.
The hacker guessed that Alaska's governor had met her husband in high school, and knew Palin's date of birth and home Zip code. Using those details, the hacker tricked Yahoo Inc.'s service into assigning a new password, "popcorn," for Palin's e-mail account, according to a chronology of the crime published on the Web site where the hacking was first revealed.

The FBI and Secret Service launched a formal investigation Wednesday. Yahoo declined to comment Thursday on details of the investigation, citing Palin's privacy and the sensitivity of such investigations.

The person who claimed responsibility for the break-in did not respond Thursday to an e-mail inquiry from The Associated Press.

"i am the lurker who did it, and i would like to tell the story," the person wrote in the account, which circulated on the Internet. What started as a prank was cut short because of panic over the possibility the FBI might investigate, the hacker wrote.

Investigators were waiting to speak with Gabriel Ramuglia of Athens, Ga., who operates an Internet anonymity service used by the hacker. Ramuglia told the AP on Thursday he was reviewing his own logs and promised to turn over any helpful information to authorities because the hacker violated rules against using the anonymity service for illegal activities.

"If you're doing something illegal and causing me issues by doing this, I'm willing to cooperate," Ramuglia said. "Obviously this is the most high profile situation I've dealt with."

The break-in of Palin's private account is especially significant because Palin sometimes uses non-government e-mail to conduct state business. Previously disclosed e-mails indicate her administration embraced Yahoo accounts as an alternative to government e-mail, which could possibly be released to the public under Alaska's Open Records Act.

At the time, critics of Palin's administration were poring over official e-mails they had obtained from the governor's office looking for evidence of improper political activity.

Details of this week's break-in, if authentic, were consistent with speculation by computer security experts who said Yahoo's "forgot-my-password" service almost certainly was exploited. The mechanism allows customers to retrieve or change their password if they can verify their identity by confirming personal information such as birthdate, zip code and the answer to a "secret question," such as a childhood pet's name or school mascot.

Palin's hacker was challenged to guess where Alaska's governor met her husband, Todd. Palin herself recounted in her speech at the Republican National Convention that the pair began dating two decades ago in high school in Wasilla, a town near Anchorage.

The topic of this thread is How low will politics go ?

It seems like politics is the underbelly of our society.  Moral- ethical- spiritual issues are caught up in the political vortex-  Do you eat conservative food ? drive conservative ? listen to conservative music ( Wayne Newton ) ? This board along with the Schenectady site is in a political black hole- very sad indeed- but Im sure there is more baloney to come-

I dont really care who wins- drills- taxes or whatever-- sounds crazy but I make money whoever is
president-

Seriously- google Elvis- Alive or dead- -
