Educators intolerant of conservative mindset

Andrea Michael, writing for the Wall Street Journal, stated, “Only the uneducated will vote for Sarah Palin.” I would suggest a more accurate statement would be, “The college-educated will support Obama.” (Qualified by: except for many older grads.)
When I went through the educational system and college nearly 60 years ago, politics was not a noticeable part of the educational system. Presently, the political views of our educators have a profound influence on the politics of our youth.
Our public school textbooks have been surreptitiously modified by a consortium of teachers, their unions, an indifferent government, and what I call “thought police.” Textbooks have become more politically correct and incorporated changes that often modify historical content.
The political leanings of our public school educators are promoted quite subtly, but college professors are open and aggressive regarding their politics. The majority (approximately 90 percent) of college educators are of a Democratic mindset and teach Democratic “theology” at every opportunity.
The result: College students are no longer receptive to conservative thought. The instances of dissidence and disrespect to campus speakers with viewpoints other than liberal Democrat are numerous. The limited number of conservative students that speak out are ridiculed, often banned from campus publications, and usually deprived of listening to conservative speakers on campus.
The influence of that same mindset by college grads entering positions in the media has become obvious and predominates on broadcast networks.
American-style democracy and our two-party political system is approaching a tipping point. Do we really want to go there?

Blame it on their upbringing and their exposure as kids......the golden thread has been pulled from the fabric of Americana.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
