A very dangerous empty suit if elected.

And that shows you why things in Schenectady are so wonderful (the writer is actually from Schenectady).  This explains some things, doesn't it?

Fixation - no, actually I'm scared as hell of the prospect of this LIAR being voted into the White House by a deceived population - only to learn the lesson too late.

We need to do what we can to make sure we all do not live in an Obama nation effective January 20, 2009.

Listen....Let me remind everyone that both presidential candidates are hoping to be elected to THE MOST POWERFUL POSITION IN THE WORLD!!! Get that??? The most powerful position IN THE WORLD!!!

Call it a fixation if you choose...but we as americans have the RESPONSIBILITY to be extremely cautious and diligent and gather as much 'truth' as possible before we go pushing levers in voting booths to vote for the person that will be sitting in the most powerful position IN THE WORLD!!!

ok, your point is taken -- I just question some of this "truth" and its source, that's all.

it's good and healthy for americans to debate their candidates' qualifications

Sombody,

Thank you for your measured response and question (accusation).

The questions of Obama's faith, considering that of his family (parents, siblings) with whom he shares a common past, is of interest to many voters, including myself.  Although one's religious beliefs should not preclude any candidate from consideration, a candidate's association with radical elements (including religious leaders) and the denial of one's past activities are, I believe, valid concerns as they raise questions re: a candidates integrity.

You may cast aspersions if you wish.  I am concerned only with ensuring that the leader of our country is qualified for office and exhibits loyalty and commitment to our democratic form of government.

I will not post further replies to this thread as you stated that there is another thread on the forum in which Obama's faith is being discussed.
