Voters should give big spenders the gate

    Our nation is headed toward economic collapse if Washington’s spendathon continues unabated.
    The current recession is like no other in recent times. The dollar is no longer the de facto world currency, oil prices are in the stratosphere, the ongoing war in Iraq could cost trillions more and the Federal Reserve continues to inflate the currency.
    If the world bankers continue to create currency and credit out of thin air at the present rate, the consequences could be devastating. What we have in this country is a group of unelected people who have enormous power to affect the economy and lives of every American.
    If politicians can gull the voters with lip service — all politicians call for fiscal discipline, but very few mean it — they are more than happy to do so.
    The good news is that we can do something about it. It is up to the American electorate to hold the elected spendaholics accountable, separate their rhetoric and their records, and put the fear of God in both incumbents and challengers.

Anyone notice how Mr.Tonko 'happened' to take a little 'vacation'-----so he wont be blamed for the belt tightening we so desperately need.....lip service is
fine if your the guy/gal shooting the wood at the local tavern.....but, wisdom is not found at the bottom of a barrel of beer.....Mr.Tonko has a clean slate
so to speak....how it 'wasn't him who voted for the cuts' or the 'I feel your pain'.......I just hope the sheeple will actually look up see and hear and call
things what they are......
Mr.Tonko might be allowed to come back in the circle when he himself has more folks to take care of under his roof than himself and can see past
the backpats and knee high 'you know what' that he so readily shows up for.......JMHO
