why don;t you read gadlfy's earlier posts where she mentions the mass number of people who changed party, I believe it was tow years ago, to become conservatives.

Please, do not take my word for it, Mobile. Do a little review of your own board.

And I doubt my statement will bite me in the a**, but you are certainly welcome -- mobile

thank you for the kind welcome btw.

I can see you and I will be having lots of fun together.

Nickel is absolutely correct!! There are many registered conservatives that are only conservatives because of the cops. A few years ago when the cops planned and successfully took over the conservative party, for their own agenda, they summoned friends, family, neighbors and co-workers into changing their political affiliation to conservative. And they did. They were not true conservatives in the sense of ideology. Just a sense of personal loyalty.

So in assuming that these are the folks nickel is talking about, I guess the reformed conservs can expect a mass exit of these people.

But where will these conservs go now? I mean they really need to 'think' seriously about a party that truly mirrors their political belief. Certainly notfor loyalty to friends and family.

the real conservatives will stay with the conservative party -- the others> probably will go to the Independence Party, or more likely, they will remain and force opportunities to ballot in every race the faction endorses a candidate. the bloodbath will last for years.

You never cease to amaze me with your flexible off-the-cuff estimates, papa...and your accounts of my actual comments are about as
accurate as the People's Gazette. Real conservatives already know everything papaRandy, because unlike you, we have been out there
with them all along. Before us, no one from this party bothered with them - and they know it is because THEY are the real conservatives
in this county, for whom current and past leadership has had no use because they are not among their recruited yes-men.
TRUE conservatives aren't concerned with anything we're doing - EXCITED maybe, but not concerned - they know we HAVE ALWAYS been
on their side. What they are concerned with, papaRandy, is the obvious fact that the party "leadership" has become so profoundly
detached from rank and file members of this party.
And just so you know, this will be my last response to your clueless rants. Your rhetoric is completely devoid of facts, or reality for that
matter, and simply aren't even worthy of response.

I think you may have me confused with someone else ... the chances of you / I ever having "fun" together - let alone ever meeting each other, are more slim than you can imagine.

Again - unless you want me to go downstairs and look at the lumber in my basement, you're way off track.

See we are having fun already -- I write a post and you come back with some nonsense of looking at your lumber in the basement -- it is wonderfully obscure.

and please, do not think I was offering you an invitation to meet --- far from my mind -- I meant fun matching wits on the board ---

I think u are already down by a half wit already --- so that means I am ahead.

Well folks, we've seen papaRandy's "response" today, undoubtedly written by Brian Quail. As we always expected, papa & co. are trying
to dupe conservatives into believing they are us...that is, the real conservatives - just as he and his predecessors have continuously
attempted to dupe them into voting for liberal Demokratz on their ballot line.  This of course began early in this cycle while Brian Quail
was roaming around Niskayuna collecting signatures for our opponents', trying to tell Conservatives he was with the "true" conservatives. I wonder if he was able to say that with a straight face?
We'll be posting Randy's "truths" soon...the only surprise for our supporters will be how much BS can be fit into such a small space.

We wouldn't mind that at all - we're used to it! The only differences would be that it will be even easier for Conservatives to win on the
levers than it was on the write-ins; and instead of Conservatives forcing write-ins to put conservatives on their ballot line, our opponents
will force write-ins to attempt to replace an endorsed conservative with a liberal.

If the reps are 'papering' the area for the reformed conservs, than you can bet the dems are 'papering' the area (or doing something)for the present conservs.

Now in theory and historically...it would not be unusual for the reps to help the conservs as their ideology is almost mirrored. It would be very unusual and even questionable to have the dems help the conservs. They are at two different ends of the spectrum. The dems are more in line with the working family party.

But ya know....in todays political climate....who can ever tell the difference anymore? I think they are ALL 'cross dressers'. All in the name of 'power and political agendas' and very little about 'us the taxpayers'!!
