Seems like the courts have given Marotta  a get out of jail free card. As you know, He has been trying to get a special use permit to bring his junk on the aquifer in Pattersonville. The date for him to clean up the site July 14th is pushed back until he goes thru the process of applying for a permit. Every so often his representative shows up to the planning board with a "new" idea  which is turned down. However, this process could go on for months, even years . And his tractor trailers and other junk , loaded with who knows what, continue to sit over our drinking water. All this despite the fact he plead guilty in court!  Lets hope the County can step  up to the plate as they have in the past and move this scofflaw and his debris out.

It looks like Marotta is just using the system to stall and keep things  in limbo.

Do you guys know that his lawyer at first was none other than Judy D's campagne manager a few years ago. The he handed it to the current lawyer, who is is known for handing cases to he doesnt want to handle for certain reasons of appearance. Then the democrats go all about making themselves look like champs, while the people from that group -citizens against the dump, go out and campagne for the democrats and Tony JAsenski and Judy D! Well they must be die hard democrats anyway to do that. I remember they really pushingf hard for Kosiur too last year, with the letters and that to the editor.

It seems that this town has a problem handling 'dumps'. Ya got your 'Marotta's dump' and ya got your dump on Beverly Street. There should be no excuse for this whatsoever. There are laws on the books and fines in place....so what is the problem here? And isn't that what we pay code enforcers for?

You forgot the 'other dump'----THE POLITICAL PARTY DUMPS.......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
