Newscaster Egan
leaves WTEN

MENANDS — Veteran broadcaster Tracy Egan has left WTEN.
Officials at the television station said Egan, who joined Channel 10 in 1994, left her position last week. She had been anchoring “News10 at Noon” and reporting for the station’s early evening newscasts.
Station General Manager Rene LaSpina was not available for comment Monday afternoon. Egan also could not be reached for comment.
Egan, a Ballston Lake native, began her television career at WRGB in 1975. She secured major market work in New York City in 1979, reporting and anchoring for WABC, the flagship station for the ABC television network.
Egan returned to the Capital District in 1987, anchoring the 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts at WRGB. She was dismissed from WRGB in 1991, and was off the air for three years — selling real estate and appearing in television commercials — before returning to television at WTEN in July 1994.
For now, WTEN officials said, broadcasters Dori Marlin and Mark O’Brien will alternate on the noon broadcast.

I always liked her and I knew I kid in school who dated her in high school. The kid had grandparents up in burnt hill s or something and rode horses with her, she was nice. I remember meeting her a few times when we were all young (back in the day)
