The Real Ted Kennedy

The leftist media in this country has erupted in tributes to Ted Kennedy. Democrats praise him. Republicans praise him. Liberals praise him, conservatives praise him. And while we mourn when a man dies, does that mean that all criticism must stop? Does a man who spent his entire political life destroying the fundamental tenets of American morality become miraculously rehabilitated on his passing? Do conservatives stop being conservatives when such a man dies?

No! And yet it seems that the Republicans in Congress have forgotten what Ted Kennedy did to our borders. Too many so-called conservative commentators have forgotten what Ted Kennedy did to our language. Too many fawning media lackeys have forgotten that Ted Kennedy succeeded in nearly destroying our culture.

We cannot forget that he opened the borders as early as 1965. We cannot forget that he voted to destroy the flag and destroy traditional marriage. We cannot forget in spite of his death, that he voted for late-term abortion – i.e., infanticide. We can't forget that…

He voted no on a constitutional ban on flag desecration.

He voted no on a constitutional ban of same-sex marriage.

He voted yes on adding sexual orientation to the definition of hate crimes.

He voted no on banning affirmative action hiring with federal funds.

He voted yes on allowing illegals to participate in Social Security.
We cannot forget what he has done to our country.

And so now the Soros-run media sets on anyone who dares disclose the truth about Ted Kennedy. As in a Soviet show trial, persecution falls on anyone who refuses to take the party line that the great lying lion of the left must be praised. We will not be silenced. Silence is death. Speak the truth about Ted Kennedy. Americans must know his reckless record of destructive social engineering.

'More people were killed at Chappaquiddick than at Three Mile Island' - car bumper sticker says it all

By Gerald Warner World Last updated: August 26th, 2009

“Senator, you were expelled from Harvard for cheating, then you left a woman to drown in your car at Chappaquiddick. What makes you think you have what it takes to be President?” That was the opening question of an interview with the late Senator Edward Kennedy during his unsuccessful bid to secure the Democratic nomination for the US presidency. It might equally now serve as an obituary.
The answer to that embarrassing question, of course, can be given in one word: entitlement. The Kennedy dynasty has long assumed a divine right to high office and privilege that accords ill with the spirit of the American constitution. We saw it yet again, earlier this year, with the attempt to shoo-in the totally inexperienced Caroline Kennedy as successor to Hillary Clinton representing New York in the Senate. It failed: the Kennedy clan, as used to be said of effete Chinese dynasties, has exhausted the mandate of heaven.
Now that Edward Kennedy has died, the liberal establishment and its media acolytes have the onions in the handkerchiefs to orchestrate a show of grief over the loss of a “great leader”, as Barack Obama ludicrously termed this discredited playboy. No doubt the modernist Catholic Church in America will bury this indefatigable proponent of federally funded abortion with full honours. Despite his having led a life of extravagant degeneracy, the liberal “Catholic” caucus of the Pelosi/Biden orientation will fervently claim him as their own.
In Britain, Kennedy will be remembered for his championing of IRA terror, on the same knee-jerk anti-British principles that inspired his father, Ambassador Joseph Kennedy, to support Hitler. Yet Kennedy was awarded an honorary knighthood, just as America gave him its Presidential Medal of Freedom. What for? For being a Kennedy, of course. The Kennedy humbug was incisively deflated by a Republican bumper sticker that memorably claimed: “More people were killed at Chappaquiddick than at Three Mile Island”. Another succinctly said: “No one drowned at Watergate”.
What is it that motivates people in so-called democratic societies to create reverential myths around hollow idols with feet of clay? America is the one country on earth where only the rich are socialists. That East Coast tribe will now indulge in false hero worship and wild hyperbole about a man who, if his surname had been anything other than Kennedy, would have provoked widespread distaste and social ostracism. This time, the liberal elite is burying not just an individual but the political aspirations of a dynasty whose objectives were incompatible with the best interests of America.

I pay between 5 or 10% of mine. I don't know the exact percentage. But I'm sure it isn't even 10% I'll check tomorrow.

Do you want it to be free, or just get a cheap price for healthcare. If the latter is true, what procedures do you want to give up, heart surgery, brain surgery or what? Would you prefer the drug companies stop making profit? Great idea! No more new drugs! OK then tell me what you want. They trial lawyers are a protected class and you don't want to cut their trillions in profits, so what do you want to cut so that you have more money for consumer goods at the end of the pay period?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

There must be tort reform number one, allow everyone no matter what state they live in to have the ability to buy their health insurance form any insurance in the country no monopoly on any given area of the country. Force the insurance companies get competitive and compete on a national scale. Cap the amount of money that a doctor and hospital are forced to pay to how severely the patient was injured by negligence suits only and all frivolous lawsuits should be dismissed. Allow drugs to be purchased from the cheapest supplier as long as they are quality drugs no matter what country provides them and make the drug companies in this country get competitive and lower their prices or lose business.

I sure hope this is sarcasm.. lol

What do i want?  Hmm.. maybe some choice.. maybe some competition, maybe some oversight..
I do know i'm not naive enough to pretend to have a solution to the issue, but i'm smart enough to point out the issue.

25% percent of my income goes to my health insurance plan to protect my me, my wife, and my baby.. That's alot of cash..

Matter of fact what are you trying to get across?  Are you saying your happy with the cost of health insurance?  That it's 100% fair?  Are you kidding me?  LOL that's just plain nuts man.

AGAIN.....we don't need health CARE reform.....we need health INSURANCE reform.

And how are we ny'ers suppose to go to other insurance companies outside of our state? Each state has certain mandates for insurance companies. Does anyone think that another insurance company from another state would be so foolish as to venture across THIS state line for cheap? Hardly!

My health insurance is part of my salary.....the longer I work at the company the bigger tab they pick up.....the unions just get to
make the companies/state/feds pay for it after they pay their union bosses/arbitors/lawyers etc etc......

so.....the questions remain....what is wealth? what is value? what is rich? what is expensive? etc etc etc.......

if 25% of your income is too much for your health insurance is 25% of your income paid to taxes too much?

healthcare is not about cost.....healthcare is about responsibility and priority.....folks go hiking/skiing etc for fitness....they get hurt
so who/what pays for that? they were being 'healthy'......

I just see folks are confused on the differences between healthcare and healthinsurance.....apples and oranges.....

derivitives are what is killing us.....again,,,,we have car insurance----that we all pay along with 'nofault' in NYS......

scenario: after a bad accident 3 people, 2 adults and 1child. Ages 22, 25 and 4years respectively. One adult suffers head trauma
will never walk again, needs food via a tube, has a tracheostomy to breath. Another adult will never walk, needs diapers/or catheter
for urination and bowel movements but can talk and pushes their wheelchair around and can feed themselves. The child suffers
from palsey due to nerve damage from the accident and will need 24 hour car for the rest of their life.

-the folks to provide the care to child are the 2adults
-the equipment needed for the chronic care
-the wheelchair
-the therapy will peak and there will be no more forward improvement

car insurance does not pay for this for the next 30-60years.....not to mention the frequent problems with infections....when a persons
body is compromised it becomes succeptable to alot more attacks via the microbiology world and it requires extra effort to 'make
them healthy' again......

so where is the line? where do we stop? etc etc.......

I want to live and so does everyone else....we can insure ourselves up the ying-yang and get exactly what Anna Nicole and MJ got...
and all those Hollywood freaky folks and dont forget the politicians have 'different healthcare treatment'......notice I said
healthcare treatment....because no matter how much $$ they have,,,,the bottom line is treatment......

at one point there was legislation for helmets required for children riding bikes....industry increase for the manufacturers of safety
helmets.....there was a report after that there were more bike accidents because kids 'felt' safer and would attempt more
dangerous feats....hence more ER visits......

just food for thought.....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
