Well, many employers do not allow tee shirts at work, and many more would prohibit shirts with religious or political speech.
Bumper stickers I don't think have impact anymore.
Now, what would people address him? Write a letter to him. Dear Mr. Trust? When you call people by the first name, do we call him, "In" "Hey In, how are ya today?"
Unless he will have some last name, like In God We Trust Smith.
I admire his creativity though.
But any organization that, even if successful in removing the In God We Trust, well, frankly that money that is currently printed with thse words will be around for along time to come. I don't think all the existing paper and coins would become illegal. Then, if such an extremist anti-religion group were successful, what would stop the majority from taking a heavy marker and writing the words on the bill? People wrote "where's george.com" on dollar bills, right? |
