Dont you people get it.

I think it's you that "don't get it"

Go back in your hole - and take your wife with you.  Those remarks perhaps were welcomed in the 40's and 50's - but not today. Wake up. Smell the coffee.  The "good old boy" days are over. Cope.

Well Sal if you were an informed individual which you're not you'd know that the trooper in question used a taser against his step son and threatened to harm members of the family is that reason enough to fire him? It is in NYS.

Was it proven in the court of law? I didnt read this here in the paper so where did you get that news? From Mc Cain? And what right does she have to be the one to do the firing? Also she fired the comminsioner of police what right does she have over there to do this when the gentleman was standing up for the men in blue on his force? She sounds like a dictator in a pant - suit.

So ... you believe everything you read in the paper?  The Gazette must love you.

Um, she's the Mayor / Governor. Same situation in Schenectady. Stratton has full control of hiring/firing in the PD.

That means Stratton is a dictator too? Bet you voted for him though - or wanted to.

Sal she didn't just fire the public safety commissioner she also offered him another job which he refused and then he resigned. The liberal media had the story about the trooper tasing his stepson not the McCain campaign. The trooper also had an order of protection against him as well for the threats. The governor can hire and fire certain people in the positions in which she has authority over.

Isn't it funny how the Democrats are playing the "moral card"? (a 17 year old pregnant) And how the Republicans are playing the "change card".(nominating not only a woman for VP, but one that speaks of change and reform)

It's as if both the Democratic and Republican parties have switched ideologies.

I too enjoyed her speach, was glad to meet her and see how she carries herself.  I also share in Bums skepticism and am cautiously optimistic that she is someone who is genuinely different from the typical politician.  We will have to see how she developes in the upcoming weeks.  I can't wait for the VP debate, I have a feeling she will do very well.

she will flop since That Biden guy has been an executive in government for 40 years and is a war hero to boot. Palin did terrible from the people I talked to this week and she stuttered and read a speech she didnt even have her own words, she actually had a written speech! Tell me this isnt funny? She had to read a speech- I have never heard of such craziness. Then she brought the poor retarded baby which needs its rest and she uses him like a prop ona  movie, PLUS she had the liitle daughter hold the baby which should get her in trouble with the child protective over here for relinquishing the control of the child into the hands of a minor under 10 or whatever that little girl is. Then she had the whimpy husband who doesnt know how to wear the pants sitting there looking like a gay boy. Worst yet - Women dont have the ability to normally fight and be tough against the terrorists like men, lets be real. No women will be respected by Bin Laden and the terrorists in the middle east so that is crazy to put one in and we are just ASKING for a terrorist attack and it wil be our fault if we indeed get one overe here now.

Sal for your information Biden has zero executive experience as well as McCain, Obama so she really is the only candidate running that has executive experience, check your facts. The polls show the candidates dead even so that means McCain went up 6 points after her speech.

How unusual for a candidate for public office (especially VP) to bring their family upon stage for photo ops, introductions, etc. (NOT!) Get real Sal, I have yet to see you criticize anything of value about anyone!  And because Palin's husband was sitting on stage with her, that makes him a "gay boy"??????

Sal, judging by your logic, the reason terrorist attacks have taken place is because of women in power....wait a minute...

What a joke!

BIG DILEMMA: OPRAH BALKS AT HOSTING SARAH PALIN; STAFF DIVIDED
Fri Sep 05 2008 08:55:46 ET

Oprah Winfrey may have introduced Democrat Barack Obama to the women of America -- but the talkshow queen is not rushing to embrace the first woman on a Republican presidential ticket!

Oprah's staff is sharply divided on the merits of booking Sarah Palin, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

"Half of her staff really wants Sarah Palin on," an insider explains. "Oprah's website is getting tons of requests to put her on, but Oprah and a couple of her top people are adamantly against it because of Obama."

One executive close to Winfrey is warning any Palin ban could ignite a dramatic backlash!

It is not clear if Oprah has softened her position after watching Palin's historic convention speech.

Last year, Winfrey blocked an appearance by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, timed to a promotional tour of his autobiography.

Oprah and executive producer Sheri Salata, who has contributed thousands of dollars to Obama's campaign, refused requests for comment.

She SHOULD NOT bring her on! It is a direct insult to the voters since the daughter got knocked up and it is HER FAULT that she wasn't being a good mother. She is a TERRIBLE person to allow this TERRIBLE. I cant belivee that the polls arent 20 points for Obama after this so there must be munipulation somehow. SHE HAS TO RESIGN for what she did. I am in disbeleif that she can't be removed somehow from this ticket. Is there a way? What right do these people at the convention have shoving someone so dangerous down our throats like this, isnt this AMERICA? When did it get to be a dictator-ship by the repubs and McCain to pull this off?? I cant believe this is going on over here and no one I know will be voting for a woman like that, a real putan! no one!

Move on folks, nothing to see in the previous post worth the bytes used in space or bandwidth for this site.  Better yet, click on the ignore user button - it makes all his dribble go away.
