This is from Rene! Depressing but true!! >

Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him Taxes
Are the rule.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries,
then Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To Tax his a**.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers,
Then Tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.

Then Tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

Put these words
upon his tomb,
Taxes drove me to my doom...'

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply
The inheritance Tax!

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the
most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt,
had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to
raise the kids.

What in the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians!' And I have
to 'press 1' for English!?!?!?!?

It would be funny if it wasn't true. The article pretty much describes the way the government works in NYS and they still wonder why so many people are leaving this wonderful state.

somewhere along the generations the lie that "to pay someone else to do our work or that someone else will make our work easier" was passed into law....we have been sold a bag of asps(snakes).......

we like things 'easier' and 'safer'.....the sheeple get played like a well tuned harp.....and the shadow government continues to leech off of us.....

And let us not forget that we even get taxed on 'tax'! We paid our school tax, they reimbused some back, that we have to pay tax on yet AGAIN since they consider it income! Now THAT is definately unconstitutional!!!!!!!! >

I thought that there was a limit on how much the government could tax us. If the taxes we pay reached a certain percentage then that was the limit where they could tax us no more, I did notice that some of the taxes we pay are called fees, is that the way our government gets around the constitution?

Well, remember, too, that as long as you don't take the standard deduction on your federal taxes, many of the local taxes that you pay (and state) are deductible from your income before calculating your federal taxes.
