Stores hypocritical for not selling Nativity scenes

   I am not a religious fanatic, I just want to purchase an outdoor Nativity. Major stores refuse to carry them; those that do are afraid to have them where they can be seen. So much care is taken to avoid offending non-Christians; no one seems to realize the rest of us are offended, too.
   I tried purchasing a Nativity scene at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target and Wal-Mart. Sixteen store associates did not know what it was. I asked an assistant manager at Lowe’s why they had none, since they had hundreds of other “holiday” items; why not a Nativity? He didn’t know. In frustration, I asked for the store manager. I asked why they chose not to carry the Nativity. He couldn’t answer! The assistant then said: “Because it’s a religious icon, that’s why!”
   A religious icon? What do you think Christmas is? It is a religious holiday! You can sell every other kind of “Christmas” item, only call them holiday items not to offend anyone while still raking in money from the rest of us too stupid or complacent to complain about it.” Well, I am offended, and I know I’m not the only one.

The stores might be sued by the PC (political correct) police.....I say go purchase a menorah and wear a burka and you'll be okay.....

better yet---go buy the santa on the harley,,,,that's more of the federal christmas holiday......
