Yes, sign in and speak up. Not everything revolves around politics and there are alot of fun threads on this forum. I was wandering around earlier and found the identical forum for The Mohawk Valley. It encompasses Amsterdam, Cobleskill, Schoharie, etc. Some nice historical articles in it that we don't get in the Schenectady version of the paper. The forum only has eight members, maybe we could join in theirs and get them doing some rants and raves.
And to that point,I realize, too, that there are a lot of politics that are being thrown about this site. Please let people know your feelings. Also, if you're not so into politics, start a topic about something that you ARE into and would like to have a conversation about. Most of us that are here speaking up are into politics, so that's what we talk about. There's other interests, also. Let us know yours.
This message board was intended for use by everyone and anyone. It was with the hopes that people would either join in on existing discussions or to start their own. And BK and Rene are correct when they say that it isn't all about politics. Although it does appear to be a hot topic from time to time.
The sucess of this message board depends soley on it's members and their input.
Ya wanna bet? As low as this year was, I am willing to bet next season will be as bad or worse.
Well you might be right, but not in Rotterdam. Actually the dems sunk to an all time low in this last Rotterdam election and it proved their demise. HOWEVER, the county legislature will be another issue all together. I believe that will be a stomach turner in the future for sure!!!
