After 2,310 votes were cast, Times Union readers have selected the Seven Wonders of the Capital Region with Nipper, the famous RCA dog, leading the way with 46 percent of the vote. The votes were cast on timesunion.com over a four-day period beginning Sunday, when a story featured reader ideas for area wonders.
The choices included 24 serious suggestions and 12 tongue-in-cheek ideas, including Mayor Jerry Jennings' tan, which for the record finished in 11th place with 517 votes.
