It's an argument that can't be won based on reality, by the anti health care retards.

The world does it for everyone and it's cheaper per person than the US by far.

That is a collectivist measurement...It isn't cheaper for the person that is taxed their whole life and doesn't use any medical services or very limited services, compared to the obese diabetic with chronic problems or the person that participates in motocross.  The resources I am forced to spend on medical insurance that I do not use make me poorer.  And I know in the mind of the collectivist, it makes me greedy to want to keep the money I do not spend on medicine because I am in good health.

And exactly what do you spend on Health Care Cicero??? Maybe not much today or even tomorrow...
but one accident, one bout with cancer, one serious disabling disease... and YOU will be the one that
every one else pays for.  YOU will be the "Obese Diabetic with Chronic problems" as you put it.  YOU will
cost the rest of us in higher health insurance bills.

One of the leading causes of bankruptcy in the USA has been a serious medical illness or accident that
wipes out all savings and assets, and costs you your job and with it your company provided health
insurance... until you're on public assistance for your very existence.  Cic,you are not exempt from
that scenario.

None of us know our future... what makes you think that YOU won't be the one draining the system and
that the Rest of US will PAY YOUR MEDIAL BILLS???

Cicero would be better on his own private island where he doesn't depend on anyone and no one depends
on him... No taxes and no services... and ALL BY YOURSELF.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

And the amount of money we give to those said countries who can afford it.

...says the Liberatarian... that wants to liberate my money from me to pay for others.

I favor a system of you get what you pay for (or you get what you work for).  IF it's half as much to have universal coverage?  I would like to see that.  Show me that if everybody has coverage, it will only cost me half.  Not projections, actual fact.

You can't provide a fact for something that doesn't exist. All you can do is see what it costs everyone else that does it and extrapolate from that. Everyone else pays just about half of what we do on health care.

Your costs of health care was liberated long ago. Getting a better price for you is call efficiency.

If the government is going to control health care, at least make then run it efficiently.

Letting you keep more of your money isn't liberating it from you, by any means.

You just hate the idea, and fight against it, even if it costs you twice as much.

I could get hit by a car tomorrow and die.  I could suffer a fatal heart attack. I could suffer a fatal stroke.  I could fall down a flight of steps and die.  I could be murdered walking down the street.  I can give you plenty of 'what-if' scenario’s, where being forced to give my hard earned money while I'm in good health, to a for-profit health insurance company is a complete waste of my money.  But not a waste for the record profitable insurance companies, they could care less if I die tomorrow, as long as they can count on getting my premiums while I'm alive.

Box, have you become comfortable as a fascist?  You are doing your part as a good Democrat, fear mongering to scare people to give money to your crony insurance companies.  It's for the nations good.  Do you know what promotion of nationalism and socialism through the means of corporatism is?

Exactly, you get sick now, you lose your home.

You go into a nursing home, you lose your home.

With universal health care you don't need to dump your assets, you can keep them and pass them along to your heirs.

Along with universal health care comes the chance to retire, whenever you want and can afford to just pay your normal bills, keeping your home in the process.

The same thing applies here as police work costs.

You are going to pay for it!

At least make them charge you for efficient spending of your money.

Universal care would put an end to corporate profit made off of your suffering and death.

I agree with you 100%

Obamacare is not what is needed. Universal coverage would cover everyone, without Medicare monthly payments, without exceptions

Coverage for everyone at half the cost.

And just for the record, if corporations paid taxes your taxes would be 25% of what they are now.

Corporations pay taxes on net profit only. Everyone else pays taxes on gross income, minus personal deductions.

And if those things happened to YOU  it wouldn't cost ME a dime...  (except that I might send flowers   )
But if you
~ got hit by a car and survived...
~ suffered a lingering non fatal heart attack... then another then another...
~ suffered a non fatal stroke, then another then another...
~ if you fell down a flight of stairs and were permanently disabled...
And
~ if while walking down the street you were attacked,
~ the impact of the attack caused a non fatal stroke,
~ the trauma caused a non fatal heart attack,
~ you staggered into a building looking for help and fell down the stairs and were seriously injured,
~ falling down the stairs you rolled out into the road and were run over by a car...
I AND MY FELLOW TAXPAYERS WOULD HAVE TO PAY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN INCREASED HEALTH CARE
PREMIUMS, JUST TO KEEP YOUR SORRY A$$ ALIVE.

So lame... these ME FIRST Anti Govt Right Wingers, want it all their way... they want to suck on the teat
of the taxpayers, just to avoid paying a few dollars a week in health care premiums.

Nah...The rabid left wingers want to take everybody’s money and manage their lives from cradle to grave.  They feel the individual cannot manage it themselves and that only through the force of a strong central government and social engineering can we reduce medical costs and make their lives better for them, because the government knows best.

The key to this whole Obama care is to get the 18 to 26 year old to contribute to a system because a VERY LOW percentage of them will use it.  That is why the law mandates "children" covered under their parent’s health insurance until 26.  They are adding people to the risk pool that will pay into it but will not be using it.  So those young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 will have capital confiscated from them or their parents to pay into a system they will most likely not use during those years.  That money could be spent on a start up business, paying rent, paying for an education, or a number of other things to give a young adult a head start in their lives.  But no, government says, you must pay into a health insurance, because we know where you should spend your capital.

Insurance is extortion, whether by the government or a corporation, it is mafia protection money.

Take out the word "INSURANCE" and enter the word "TAX" and you have the
entire Right Wing philosophy.
They want to suck all the govt services dry, then let some one else pay for it.

Cicero and his like minded brothers, see this issue like they do all others...
"I got mine... Screw everyone else."

Health insurance or Health care tax, or whatever you want to call it isn't a government service.  A government service is public water or public sewers or public roads, and these things mentioned are locally funded.  It wasn't until the rabid left totalitarians turned a doctor visit into a Constitutional "right" and government service requiring an act of Congress.

The left wants to control you and all of your actions before you become a burden on their utopian society.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a
free cell phone with free monthly minutes, food stamps, section 8
housing, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe and some Air Jordan's
and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

They also decide 'your age tolerance for procedures'.......no extra payment needed/accepted...except of course
a fight to USA....

extreme? not when I see the 'standards' in place by government insurance....is it FREE to accept the limitations via
the system that will tell you your value even if you WANT to pay more but cant find a participant for fear of retribution
via federal penalties for 'double dipping'.....they will call it fraud...

they will place value/participation/limits/standards that remove one's desire to seek the snake oil salesman

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
