That is just plain rude and does nothing for the integrity the voting process is supposed to have.....if it is for a political party or special interest--shame on you....if it is the media looking for an angle/$$story----shame on you too...........

So either there is integrity or there is not.....take your pick political machine.....either way you lose......

Too many of us like to have our say....especially with those stupid pew polls/exit polls/college polls/demographic polls.....what are we bingo balls?????
We need to stop answering those polls.....maybe we could get out of the sheep pen for slaughter......

Quoted from JoAnn
I just received a phone. She asked which of the following I thought was most important:
1. Revitalizing the economy?
2. Lower taxes?
3. I don't remember. Sorry!
4. Keeping our kids safe?

Then she asked if the election was held today, who would you vote for:
1. Ed Kosiur?
2. George Amedore?

And that was the entire poll. Did anyone else receive this?

I got the same call....I answered with 'revitalize the economy and George Amedore!

I didn't, but I did make one.  I called the New York State Taxpayers Union to see if they would be interested in endorsing Mr. Amedore.  I think it would be a great thing for both Mr. Amedore and the NYSTU (http://www.nystu.org).

I did get another call....they were straight to the point after a short paragraph of what needed "fixin'" in NY.....then they asked who I would be voting for....my reply:

None of your business that is private info...

the person on the other end stumbled over their good-bye and thank you for your time........

You know why the Dems always win the exit polls or the phone polls?  Because they have no sense of humor.  They're so proud to say who they voted for and want their person to be on the top from the beginning.  The Republican's?  They like to play with the mind of the media, give them the opposite answer from what they're looking for, then have them "shocked and awed" when the actual results come out.

Got a call last night.  Can you please tell me if you've heard of the following people and if you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion on them?  Has anything you've heard in the news swayed your opinion on any of these people?

Ed Kosiur
Paul Tonko
George Amedore Jr.

How are you registered?

Do you consider yourself strong to your party?

I got a recorded message from Shumer's group about an hour ago asking me to vote for Kosiur, the Dems are feeling the pressure they thought that they had a shoe-in with Kosiur. The Dems just take us all for granted and assume that all the Dems will vote the Democratic ticket.

In all I believe I received 5 poll calls.....not one of them received and answer from me....."sorry that is private information"......dont sit back and relax---we already have that problem with incumbents and career politicians.......experience is good yes, but stagnation could mean death too.......

Yesterday afternoon, I got a call reminding me that I hadn't voted...from a machine...

Problem with that?  I voted... at 8:30 in the morning!!!

If they wanted me to vote again, I would have, but I think there would have been issues...

I got the same phone call AFTER I voted. They must have just been random calls, cause I surely would have voted again. Not that it was necessary after all!! hurray!

The Amedore group did an outstanding job getting the word out to vote for George and the results of their actions was rewarding.

I had an Amedore sign in my yard and yet had a 'vote for Kosiur' flier with a reminder to vote the morning of the election.

And I do agree with  you shadow...the reps (combined with George Amedore himself) did an outstanding job on this campaign.
