Damn, guess I struck a nerve. More Cop-haters like Mertz. This is a tough town. Imagine if it was a police department with all kinds of issues and complaints how many cop-bashers there would be on this site. |

I don't think anyone here bashes the cops per se, at least not the clean ones. In every department, there's dirty ones - that's a different story. What I think most have issues with is the unions and the negotiations at contract time. Personally, I know MANY SPD and RPD officers and employees, as well as officers in the Sheriff's department - and don't have issues with any of them. Several even have shared dinner with us. |
