I find it interesting that she quoted that we have the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness...then skips life to go right to a decision based on "liberty."

By the way, the Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness had nothing to do with the Constitution...it was in the Declaration of Independence.

I think it being said in the Declaration of Independence is the problem itself.....a child in the womb is NOT independent

and neither is a child in college paid for by parents....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Liberty important, but life comes first

Regarding the June 15 letter, "Liberty applies to right to have an abortion, too": Since when is being pro-life the same as the "establishment of religion?" They are not interchangeable.
The letter states that Americans can "do and think whatever we want." Think all you want, but think twice before you do whatever you want. For instance, don't trespass on government property, fail to pay your taxes, refuse your child a basic education, set your neighbor's house on fire, drink and drive, etc.
As far as abortion is concerned, I became informed years ago when I learned the truth about the development of the unborn child and that the unborn child can feel pain during the procedure. I also have seen an increasing number of women who have suffered the regret of that irreversible act.
"Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," as mentioned in the letter, begins with the word "life" and there is a reason for that. If you don't have life, then the rest is simply meaningless.
Those who promote or make money off abortion, deny life and liberty to the most innocent of all. All of us were once unborn babies, and the others deserve their lives as well, regardless of the circumstances.

Just try putting a home for unwed mothers in any decent neighborhood- sadly  most pro-lifers get very uncomfortable about having that " undesirable element "  so close -

Yeah, all those right wing Conservatives in the stockade who were upset come to mind, led by that democrat frontman Joe Fava, who stopped the thing.  They were all viewers of the 700 club, I am certain.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Let planned parenthood house the unwed. They can obviously set up business where ever they want. Planned parenthood should be housing them ultimately giving these girls an alternative to abortion. Perhaps it would even put planned parenthood in a better light with it's pro-lifers! It may even increase their donations from the opposing side.

Your joking right ?  Houses for unwed mothers need to be aproved by the community ?  Come on your a smart guy -
Homes for pregnat single mothers are not easily accepted into the community- try and put one down the street from where you live- no way - ask your neighbors-

Again, it is the left that doesn't want it in their own back yards. They want the government to handle all of it, after taking half off the top of course, for patronage jobs, admin expenses and waste. And that is because it is apparent to any retiree, or business person, or citizen who goes to deal with the State Motor Vehicle Department, that THE GOVERNMENT HAS A HARD TIME RUNNING ANYTHING MUCH MORE THAN A LEMONADE STAND EFFICIENTLY! It is the churches and charitable groups that usually do a far better job dealing with any of this stuff. Of course that is, if we take the premise that without unfettered access to abortion there will be a skyrocket in the number of unwed mothers with new babies.

I am sorry, I was wrong in the last post. The government can't run a lemonade stand well either.

If two people are given the same opportunities and decide that they want to make the most of it, then yes, I do believe that they are created equal.  They decide how they want to use the abilities and/or situations that they are put in.  Believe me, I know this for a fact, as I have personally seen it happen.  Some people are given everything and do nothing with it.  Some people are given nothing and go out and get it.  It's a matter of will, not what you have.

We will abort with or without planned parenthood....it's nothing new under the sun......it's no different than someone not
taking initiative at their job.....one either takes the bull by the horns or not......I am pro-choice.....choice to raise a child
and choice not to raise a child.....even those in Hollywood dont raise their children and some wont even 'mess up' their bodies
....and yet we 'give' them our attention and $$......

brangelina, madonna, michael jackson, britney and the rest can kiss my butt.....

either way to abort or not is NOT the issue.......
