CEO's should be paid according to how much money they make the company and stock-holders, if they don't make the company and stock-holders any money then they should just draw a regular salary and no bonuses and stock options.

I know our economic system isn't set up this way, but the way I see it, the CEO is only as good as his/her employees. So the way I figure it, the employees should be getting paid more money be it though wages, profit sharing or bonuses.
