everyone should submit their questions to the editorial in the Gazette and the Spotlight.....and how about e-mail until they cant open them......

I received a phone call from Rich Brandt yesterday...he is the Government Relations representative for Mohawk Ambulance. He has confirmed that
not only will Mohawk be in attendance at the "presentation" tomorrow night, but he has confirmed that the original proposal for EMS in Rotterdam
remains largely unchanged. That is, they will buy the town-owned building out of which REMS is currently operating...hire REMS personnel...produce
income for the town...all calls covered, no more dropped calls...in house ambulance and staff 24/7...NO COST TO TAXPAYERS.

No wonder the union cartel doesn't want the public to speak. Everyone should just storm the meeting...talk anyway...and just dare them to stop you.

Kelly- who are you to receive phone calls regarding our tax dollars?  You want to be an effective voice for government?  Either run for office or - SHUT the F*CK UP!

You do more harm than good for the people of Rotterdam.  But then again maybe you want it that way.  You certainly have put a dark cloud over anything the Town tries to do to cope with rising costs and expected services.  You are part of the  problem not the solution.  Let the elective officials do their job and SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE!  ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > > >

Wow Peep, are you against Rotterdam having an ambulance service that pays it's own way and isn't going to be a draw on the already overburdened taxpayer or is there another motive. I thought that it was every residents duty to keep informed and to pass information concerning matters that effect residents on. If we could trust our elected officials to tell us the truth then we wouldn't have to find out information thru the back door.

Nice to see your attitude toward the citizens of Rotterdam improving Diane.

The "problem" here is not Kelly, nor any resident - it's the administration - be it the FDG or ST, JS, JP, JC (for all you looking for someone to "blame") era, the back room deals, the "parties", the underhanded, backstabbing, pension seeking, power hungry people running town hall, county offices, state govt and Washington.  Start working FOR the people, not for yourselves. Represent the issues that are important to your constituents - not what's important toward your wallet.

With people like peeps in town administration, with their vile, hate filled comments with such colorful language - it's no wonder taxpayers are in the position we're in.

When is the last time Kelly did anything benevolent for Rotterdam.  Ever see her sitting at a booth collecting tickets for a kid with cancer?  Ever put her name on anything to help out other than lawsuits and in your face petitions?  Ever see her write an editorial about the positve things going on in her town?  Ever see her get up at a town meeting praising the efforts of our police, DA, Sheriff, elected officials, appointed officials.  I think we all know all too well that Kelly Rhinesmith is an obstructionist with a flair for the "Spotlight."

Town Government doesn't need cheerleaders.  Town Government needs watch dogs.  Peeper, you seem to be confusing positive things going on with the Town versus positive things going on with a particular Town Administration.

One voice of opposition does not make an obstruction for a town of 25K+.  Unless that voice rings true.

Keep'em honest Kelly.

answer to you questions:   never, never never, never ---  and saying she has a "flair for the Spotlight" is
an understatement.

Talk about cheerleaders???  Again Cicero you make us wonder who you really are.  Never find fault with Kelly but find fault with everthing Dem.  Another misguided misfit-FOR (Friend of Rhinesmith)  Kelly is no watchdog she is an attack dog.  She has come a long way from the catwoman days of yore.  How did that personal crusade turnout.  Anyone know....or care???

If and when any Town Board or a Town Board  member does anything that's has a positive effect on the town and it's taxpayers they should receive credit for their efforts whether it be a Dem, Rep, or Con. It's just that those type of things don't happen very often but adverse effects on the town residents happen far more often.

Go ahead and check my post history during the last administration.  You'll see I'm not a cheerleader for any one party.  I support anybody that is willing to question those holding elected office.  Party affiliation doesn't matter.  Elected officials have the power that comes with the office held, I think it's hilarious that Kelly is able to cross up this administration and piss off other Democrats by asking a few simple questions.

It begs to question how many things would have slipped thru that would not be to the taxpayers benefit if it weren't for watchdogs keeping those in power honest.

A quick check says she lives in Rotterdam but whether the house she lives in is in her name you'll have to ask her.
