So Tony J can publicly lobby on behalf of a mismanaged REMS in order to suck MORE money out of the taxpayers pocket, BUT, he has nothing to say to lifetime Democrat EE sitting at home collecting two taxpayer funded paychecks for doing nothing?  Not ONE Democrat has spoken against the thievery Eunice is committing.  Now the Revitalize Rotterdam team has rewarded a non-profit that has been robbing the taxpayer for years. The Revitalize Rotterdam team revitalized the practice of taxing the residents and lining their cronies pockets.  Who represents the taxpayer on this Town Board?

TJ isn't going to say anything about EE.  I believe she is his Aunt....

She is....and I told TJ last summer that he should use his 'family' influence to convince EE to do what's right...resign and stop
fleecing the Town...he claimed he had no influence...but I wouldn't be surprised if he actually encouraged the family to milk it
for all it's worth...his REMS lobbying has shown us how capable he is when it comes to deception and squeezing taxpayers.

Neither the person you have alluded to nor the non-profit that you have alluded to have committed theft or robbery.   Your statements are defamatory  ... and quite possibly actionable in a court of law.

You're funny.   Threats of litigation for words posted on a message board, but NO THREATS of litigation for the hundred thousand plus of unaccounted for money collected by REMS without resolution, and $100K paid for a no show Clerk.  Way to prioritize you legal concerns...Residents are well aware of where Democrats energy is focused - hiding the truth, even by threats of law suit.  Straight from the Mallozzi school of politics.

if memory serves me correctly -- it was a Republican supervisor and a Republican town attorney who gave them the go-ahead to keep the fees

no one has proven the exact dollar amount-- so your claim that it is hundreds of thousands of dollars is unproven

You got ripped off in law school too, Ron...

Robbery - FORCIBLE stealing through the use of violence or threats

I don't recall anyone contending that REMS stole the ALS money by forcible means.

Thank you for your partial agreement on the vote...but it is worthy to note that ND had attempted to get the Board to agree on
a decision prior to the ems vote...which would have forced the others to take a position that would have left only one resolution...
to award REMS the contract...on which she would have voted no...instead of the games she recognized as just that...games...an
attempt to escape the facts and their twisted rationalization for awarding REMS the contract.

Although I agree with most that the ALS money MUST be returned to the Town, I don't have a vendetta against REMS.  They will self implode over time on their own.  Should they have been awarded the contract?  Probably not!  But they won't get any more grants for new ambulances, and they don't do enough volume to be sustainable.  It will take a few years, but they will fall by the wayside.  IMHO
